More about Norwich
Norwich is famed for it's shopping - rated in the top five shopping
areas in England. There are two state of the art shopping malls,
five major department stores, large City shopping area with pedestrian
precincts and arcades, cafes, bars and riverside walks. It has a
castle, 2 cathedrals, a university, the Royal Norfolk Show Ground
and many stately homes. There are 25 cinema screens, four theatres,
a football ground, bowling alleys, ski slope, and swimming pool.
There are many festivals, exhibitions and, of course, the famous
Norfolk Broads, with it's boating, fishing, wild life and riverside
walks and pubs. Norwich is well known for its daily Market in the
City centre, by Gentlemans Walk. Many interesting villages, market
and coastal towns make Norwich a great touring area for a short
break or longer holiday. |
